What an incredibly fruitful Easter weekend we had all across the C3 movement! Streams of visitors walking through the doors of services and thousands of people coming to Christ. This week’s podcast is a timely equip session as Ps Phil Pringle and Ps Shaun White (C3 Hobart) discuss how we can turn decisions into disciples. We would encourage you to share this with your team, be encouraged by C3 Hobart’s breakthrough in this area of church life, and pray about how you can refresh the heart of this conversation and systems of taking decisions to disciples in your church.
DECISIONS TO DISCIPLES
While salvation is a moment, discipleship is a journey. Just as a newborn baby needs constant care and nurturing to grow, new believers require ongoing support and guidance to develop in their faith. We’re called to ‘walk the journey’ with new believers, meeting them where they are and helping them grow. Be encouraged to move beyond simply celebrating decisions for Christ, but instead to actively invest in people’s spiritual growth, and create multiple ‘points of connection’ for new believers, ensuring they have a strong support system within the church community. This approach not only helps establish new believers in their faith but also reflects the love and care of Christ to those who may be experiencing His grace for the first time.
