
As women of color we often experience health challenges in more severe ways than other women. This happens due to several reasons but we can change the script for our lives in great ways by becoming educated on our health challenges, seeking professionals who are willing to listen to our health challenges and not just dismiss them because it is not the norm that they know, and have real conversation with our support system on navigating our health.
