By The Book — Episode 003 — Arthur Lima de Ávila

The third episode of By The Book was dedicated to "A História no  Labirinto do Presente", by Arthur Lima de Ávila, and published by  Editora Milfontes in 2021. The book is a provocative collection of  essays that reflect on the limits of History as a discipline, its  present challenges, and the "labyrinth" where historians need to move.  Arthur Lima de Ávila was our guest, alongside Caroline Guebert, who  provided a thorough comment on the book; Bruno Zorek was the host for  this episode. Portuguese was the language of choice.

Production and editing was by Diana Barbosa. Funding was provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology.

This episode was recorded in September 2021.
