On June 19, 2019, Keith Raniere, the leader of NXIVM and founder of *Executive Success Programs* was found guilty of sex trafficking, forced labor conspiracy, and racketeering. Under a name that is theorised to stand for nexum, a type of contract used in the Roman republic, where a person agrees to offer their body as collateral for a loan, women were groomed, trafficked, branded and ultimately assaulted.
Today we’ll see how some of the brightest, smartest, most intuitive women could be dragged so far into the depths of what they believed to be a programme that will help them reach their full potential. And how they will use the tools set up to work against them to bring a whole organisation down.
