回應中國政府全文：
The EU adheres to its one-China policy, recognising the PRC as the government of China, while also maintaining practical relations and cooperation with Taiwan, in line with its interests and democratic values. Our engagement with Taiwanese representatives is consistent with long-standing practices. While UN Resolution 2758 recognised the PRC as China’s representative to the UN, it did not determine Taiwan’s status nor endorse the PRC’s sovereignty claim – the so-called "One China Principle" was neither mentioned in that resolution nor was it ever recognized by the EU. Therefore, the IPAC event did not violate the EU’s one-China policy. Last year, the European Parliament adopted a position regarding this issue.
歐盟堅持其一個中國政策,承認中華人民共和國為中國政府,同時也根據其利益和民主價值觀與台灣保持實務關係和合作。我們與台灣代表的接觸符合長期以來的慣例。雖然聯合國第2758號決議承認中華人民共和國為中國在聯合國的代表,但該決議並未決定台灣的地位,也未認可中華人民共和國的主權主張——所謂的「一個中國原則」既未在該決議中提及,也從未獲得歐盟承認。因此,IPAC活動並未違反歐盟的一個中國政策。去年,歐洲議會通過了一項關於此議題的立場
