Ubisoft confirms the development of Splinter Cell remake
The Montreuil, France-headquartered video game developer Ubisoft, on Wednesday, bombed its fans with a great news – confirming the remake of Splinter Cell video game. The development is being led by Ubisoft Toronto.
According to the company, the first installment in the video game series ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell – 2002’ will be rebuilt as new for the fans across the world by leveraging Ubisoft’s own Snowdrop engine. The engine will help the company deliver new-generation visuals and gameplay. It is important to note that the same engine was used to develop Ubisoft’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and the upcoming Star Wars game.
