Business Eye Live - Ep4. Eye on the Economy, Climate Change and Women in Business plus Business Briefing

Business Eye Live - the top stories, personalities and insights in the world of business.

In this edition of Business Eye Live Richard and Brenda take a look at what the months ahead might hold for business here in the company of BDO's Brian Murphy. We talk climate change and Northern Ireland's potential to be a world leader with Professor Stephen Peake of the Open University and we home in on diversity and the challenges of the Trump 2.0 era with Roseann Kelly of the Women In Business Group.

Plus:

A team of business leaders from across Ireland will be climbing the highest mountains in every county this June in aid of the Cancer Fund for Children. It's a follow on from the 2023 walk from Dublin to Mayo by rugby legend Rory Best.

The Taste of Tourism Summit returns to the Culloden Estate & Spa in early March. Organised by the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation, it celebrates the very best of local produce right across the board. Headlining this year is the brilliant Tom Brown, a seafood evangelist, a regular on the likes of Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen, and currently the creative force behind Pearly Queen in London's Shoreditch.

And...the old Londonderry Arms Hotel in Carnlough, has a brand new lease of life and a new name. It's now called the Harbourview Hotel and it's being transformed to the tune of £1.5 million by a consortium including one of our most experienced hoteliers, Adrian McLaughlin.
