I'm not the biggest fan of goals - listen to last week's podcast. Goals are soo masculine and rigid. However, when it comes to business, having goals and measurements of success are essential. You need to understand what income you are aiming for, what resources you need for that, and forecasting which months may be bigger or smaller. Once these targets are set you then need to track, measure, and re-assess.
So what targets should you be setting?
Not a target as such but Cashflow is king
Ways to hit your financial targets
Increase revenue
There are 4 methods to increase revenue
When looking for major growth, I always recommend weekly money meetings.
Get professional help- bookkeeper, accountant, financial planner, marketer, marketing strategy, FB ads specialist etc

Last week I discussed a social media trend I loved - word of the year. This episode we will discuss a social media trend I disagree with - 2023 being your best year. Hint - 2023 doesn't have to be your best year and best shouldn't equate to More.
Sometimes life happens and we have natural contractions and retreats. So instead of going into 2023 thinking it is going to be the best. Go into 2023 with some tips and tricks to make the best of it no matter what life or business throws your way.
In this episode we will discuss:

I was soo happy to see a new trend on social media where we picked a word for the year. I am super passionate about this topic and think that a word of the year can be a powerful tool for change.

The 5 worst Call To Actions you can use in business and on social media.
But first.... What is a Call To Action? Simply put, it is a prompt for your audience to take a certain action. Why are they necessary? Because they help guide your audience into knowing the next step, it helps them know how to learn more, it makes it more customer friendly.
Call To Actions should be in majority of your communications, whether that communication is on your website, podcast, or social media channels.

Episode Description
Have you noticed how majority of prices end with a 9, 7, or 5. That is, $9.99 or $997. This is a pricing tactic called charm pricing and it is everywhere. The most common prices end in numbers are 9 and 5, according to a 1997 study, which found that these cents endings accounted for 90% of the 840 prices they analysed (60% ended in 9, 30% ended in 5).
It is so common because it is effective.
Most languages are written from left to right and the psychology of it is that the first number makes more of an impression than the numbers behind it, so if you see the 4 in $4.97, you’ll think you’re getting a greater value, even if it you’re only saving 3 cents.
Another example, $997 seems like it’s “under a thousand dollars” instead of $1,000 which can make people think “wow, it’s a thousand dollars!”
But the main question for today is - is it ethical and should you choose to use it?
In this episode, you'll hear:
I have taken the pledge with The Ethical Move to not use charm pricing or any other manipulative pricing tactics in my business. I would like to challenge you to think about this, and if right for you, take the pledge as well at: https://www.theethicalmove.org/pledge/

Do you live in the country and have that spark of entrepreneurship in you and look around and there is literally no one around you for 100kms that shares that spark (or maybe not even a single other person living in 100km radius).
If so, then this episode is for you. I talk to Tori Kopke, AKA the Rural Business Coach. Tori helps clients all over Australia to provide them with the knowledge and support that is unique to rural business entrepreneurs. Tori not only runs a successful business but is a mother to two young boys and lives in a rural community in WA.

But Bonnie.... If you are a marketing expert.... Then why aren't you a millionaire already with a million social media followers?
That is the elephant in the room. Or more likely, that is my Imposter Syndrome.
Have you ever asked yourself "Who the hell am I to do this?" - if so, come join a raw conversation with another fempreneur asking the same question.
This episode is a quick but raw exposure into my inner thoughts during this start up phase. I want to pretend that I am bigger and further along the journey than I am. I wish I was further along. But I am not. I am right here.
But does that mean I don't know what I am talking about? Does that mean that I can truly transform your marketing and relationship to your business? No. It so totally doesn't.
Do I know that I can help transform and provide confidence and clarity? Yes, I know I can, I am doing that already.
So why are we so nervous and ashamed of the starting phase?
Have you or are you battling imposter syndrome or comparisonitis? I would love to continue this conversation over at my Insta:
