At age 18 attended hair school, but turned down her place in the biggest hair school at the time in Calgary, Alberta and chased her dreams of becoming an editorial hair and makeup artist.
After 2 years of settling into Toronto and securing a job in a prestigious hair salon Dyane went back to school.
Quarter of the way through hair school she transferred to the School of Makeup Art.
Bartend at night and went to the local MAC Pro store to offer her services as an assistant and model to artists.
