There is nothing miserable about this episode. Join Michael Kushner and I as we explore the epic musical Les Mis. Les Mis is based on the novel written by Victor Hugo and follows the life of Jean Valjean running from Javert, as he meets Fantine, Cosette, Eponine, Marius and the Thenardiers.

The show opened in London in 1985 and NYC in 1986 both to SMASH reviews, for ever cementing it as a Musical Standard.
