Stories of life, travel, food, drink, but above all laughter, love, and wonder.
Driving late to our VRBO we wake up to a spectacular view over the the town of Sonoma, the distant hills, San Fransisco Bay and a glimpse of the top of the San Fransisco Bay Bridge. Adventures and wine tasting await! First to Gundlach Bundschu winery [www.gunbun.com] where we ride throughout the vineyards for some hands on education and tasting. Then onto Winery Sixteen 600 [www.winerysixteen600.com] where we once again enjoy a great education, terrific wines all under the watchful eyes of everything Grateful Dead as a homage to the days the Vintner, Phil Coturri, toured with the Dead. Tonight Master Chef, Me, made my classic pink Alfredo fettuccine with julienned peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and prosciutto along with salad and foccia bread slathered in pesto. Of course many bottles of wine from the days labor accompanied the meal while we dined al fresco overlooking Sonoma Valley
