Trusting God’s Will – God-Ordained Marriages and Our Role in Choosing
In this episode, we explore the biblical examples of God-orchestrated marriages, such as Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:18-24), Isaac and Rebekah (Genesis 24), and Boaz and Ruth (Ruth 4), which served God’s greater redemptive plan to bring Jesus into the world. While these marriages were divinely purposed, we also recognize that under the New Covenant, God emphasizes free will, wisdom, and daily commitment in relationships.
We discuss the importance of choosing a spouse wisely, aligning our decisions with biblical principles, and trusting in God’s perfect will—whether He calls us to marriage or singleness. We also explore how spiritual strongholds, such as fixating on the belief that a specific person is “ordained” for us, can hinder our peace and growth, and how we can break free by renewing our minds with God’s truth (Romans 12:2).
