The Jane Austen Bookclub: Emily Blunt Meets Robin Swicord

The dailies are in and we’re watching The Jane Austen Bookclub! Our 49th episode and where we leave Emily Blunt and begin our Robin Swicord run. You may not recognize her name immediately, but Robin Swicord is the writer/producer behind some of the move influential and iconic rom-coms ever made. So, prepare for a love struck run and pour yourself a Gin & Bennet and hit play — Brewvies is back!

Gin & Bennet

Ingredients

1.5 oz gin
1/2 oz créme de violette
1/2 oz lemon juice
ice
sparkling wine
edible blossoms [for garnish]

Instructions

In a shaker filled with ice, combine the gin, créme de violette, and lemon juice.
Shake well.
Strain into a couple, and top with sparkling wine.
Garnish with edible blossoms, and for heaven's sake, take the carriage.
