Yesssss! Welcome back to Brave New Earth my peoples!
I'm having a lot of fun recording this podcast, the guests we've had on are incredible and thank you so much for tuning in. Please like, comment, subscribe...I always really appreciate it.
This week we have Christian Samuel on the podcast, a good friend of mine.
This is an absolute masterclass in scaling profitable impact brands.
Christian is one of three founders of Roots Allotments - an incredible business thats aimed at localising food supply chains and improving people's mental health.
So what is it?
Well...we've completely lost our connection with nature - and it turns out thats a pretty important thing for people to feel happy.
We used to grow our own food, now its shipped to us in plastic packaging from all around the world.
The environmental impact of this is huge...it goes without saying.
Not only that, but the nutrients in our food is declining year on year.
Roots is on a mission to localise food supply chains by providing easy to use Allotment patches for the community.
By teaching people to grow their own food, they're localising these food supply chains, building local communities and improving people's mental health.
Pretty great if you ask me!
I loved this chat, so much insight and knowledge on the nitty gritty of building businesses.
Christian is a 6x founder, so he knows his way around a business.
Roots has just secured a huge angel investment too, so it was awesome to get some insight on that π
