I had the pleasure of having a spontaneous coffee shop interview with Rachel Kershaw, the founder of Women of Surfing, a movement dedicated to raising visibility of women who surf. Rachel shared with me her personal journey as a surfer, including how she overcame fear, and what makes her love surfing. Her passion for empowering women in surfing and beyond led her to create Women of Surfing, which brought me to connect with amazing women like Serena Xing, who runs her own surf school and surfing contests. We all ended up in Costa Rica, drawn by the beauty of the ocean and the magic all around us. Listening to the stories shared by Rachel and Serena moved me tremendously, and I know they will move you too.
