Patrick Vale is a New England native who has spent much of his young adult life venturing to other corners of the United States and the globe. With a background in English second-language instruction, he most recently lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he spent a year teaching English as a Fulbright fellow. Patrick is an alumni of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest and Americorps; he speaks Spanish and Portuguese. Particularly motivated by ethics, community building and the beauty of the shared human experience, he recently founded the podcast Ponder On, which gives him an excuse to sit down and ask big questions of the wonderful people in his life.
