Meet Andrew, the Assistant Regional Coordinator for Freetown and a laureate of the 2015 STEM innovation competition by Science Resources Africa. In 2018, he garnered acclaim at the UNDP Social Good Summit for spearheading the development of a generator addressing CO2 emissions and electricity shortages. Currently at the helm of Greentech Bioenergy as CEO since June 2022, Andrew is resolute in providing clean cooking energy to over 20% of Sierra Leone's communities using Biogas Digesters, with a commitment to both profitability and overarching goals.
In 2022, Andrew secured grants from the SOS Children’s Foundation and the Diamond Do Good Grant, graduating with Distinction. Looking forward, his profound aspiration is to metamorphose Sierra Leone into a haven where every household revels in access to clean and affordable cooking solutions, fostering safer, cleaner, and healthier living.
