This Halloween, we’re stepping out of the graveyard and into the boardroom, where the real monsters wear suits and ties. In Roger Watkins’ Corruption (1983), power and perversion go hand in hand as Jamie Gillis, Vanessa del Rio, and Bobby Astor descend into a world of blackmail, lust, and moral decay.

Watkins, under his “Richard Mahler” alias, crafts a bleak, hypnotic vision of corporate hell where every deal is sealed in sin and every pleasure comes with a price. It’s part erotic noir, part psychological horror, and entirely soaked in that grimy 1980s Times Square atmosphere we love.
