Kids love it, parents love to hate it, Mortal Kombat swept the world and forever will be embedded and renowned as a staple in videogame history. From its complex combos to its bloody fatalities, Mortal Kombat has captivated audiences for decades. So does the film compare and hold up to the games? Not so much. But it is definitely a worth while watch. Especially if you're already a fan of the franchise and know the lore behind the story. If you have a itch to watch a cheesy 90s almost comedy action movie with quippy one-liners and shotty fight sequences, then this will for sure scratch that for ya.
