The frequency and intensity of tics can be lessened with the use of behavioral therapy, such as Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and medicine, such as antipsychotics and alpha-2 adrenergic agonists.

Due to their symptoms, people with Tourette's syndrome frequently experience social stigma and misunderstandings. To foster an environment that is more encouraging, it is crucial to spread knowledge about the condition and encourage comprehension of it.
