In this episode, we discuss Feyre after being “welcomed” Under the Mountain! We begin with Lucien healing her and lots of interesting considerations (Why does Lucien having power make Tamlin tempted by Amarantha? What’s with his power??) We also get some Jurian backstory–and okay seriously WHO TF IS Clythia?? Then we get into the scene where Amarantha asks Feyre for her name. That scene has really interesting descriptions and notes about Rhys and the Amarantha deals with him, plus some interesting imagery with him and Feyre. Also–a slight ToG tangent (because Sam is reading that right now!) makes for a FASCINATING theory about Rhys and Feyre’s end game–are they gates?? Also some really interesting discussion of the roots of maybe both of Feyre’s names and we get the riddle. We also discuss Chapter 36 which is a relatively short discussion despite being such an important moment but we still have some good discussion there!
