Restoration of the history of the 20th century in Mongolia still continues. In 1911, Mongolia gained independence from the Manchu empire, where we were ruled over for almost 200 years and founded Bogd Khan’s Mongolia. It was a very important event that restored the truth of history, which was deliberately hidden during the communist regime, making this day a joyful one for the people. The 2019 year Mongolia is marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of the leader of the Mongolian national revolution of 1911 Bogd Khan by the decree of the President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga. In this audio, State Prize Winner historian Batsaikhan Ookhnoi presents a detailed demonstration of the events and people that led to 1911 Revolution of Mongolia as they were researched in his book: “The Bogdo Jebtsundamba Khutuktu The Last Emperor of Mongolia: The Life and Legends”.
