What is spiritual revival? The classic definition is a powerful personal or corporate experience resulting in a renewed passion for God. When we think of revival. We picture fervent worship and passionate preaching which inspires congregants to live out their faith more authentically and share the gospel with others. But too often it’s an Elmer Gantry kind of image that comes to mind, a tent meeting somewhere in the rural south with relatively uneducated people jumping about and speaking in tongues ecstatically. But is that revival or a cultural caricature? Dr. Bob Larson’s guest, Mike Signorelli, has a new book called "Fire Starters.” which puts a Gen Z face on revival. But is what’s happening now on revivalistic social media true revival or just another passing passion that will do little to affect the zeitgeist of our current cultural evils?

CAN YOU GET DEMONS FROM CURSING
Do you curse occasionally? Full blown F-words or darns that became dangs that become damns? I’ve observed that the incidents of Christians cursing and using foul language has increased exponentially. Does this expanding coarseness of conversation have spiritual significance? Is the degradation of vocal expressions, even by people of faith, an indication of lost propriety and a sign of something more sinister? I’m shocked that often Christians curse as much as those who do not know Christ – and this includes some well-known pastors whose names you would recognize.
