Human society relies on the enforcement and implementation of certain rights and laws to ensure a stable and functional community. However, there are times when laws come into question; are they fair and more importantly, consistent. While we admit that there is no utopian society in which all laws are constructed perfectly, there can be much to be said about the consistency of the enforcement of laws in today's criminal justice systems.
