Last episode I interviewed a person who identifies as spiritual but not a Christian. Therefore, this week do not have the normal bonus episode of why do you believe in God, but I do have something for you.

A while back I had the chance of preaching and I touched on a very tough topic. The Book of Romans speak on what is needed for salvation and this is commonly known as the salvation prayer. Some believe this is all you have to do and you are saved forever, some disagree. For me I truly believe what Romans 10:9 say but I also questioned scriptures like Matthew 7:21-23 where it states that Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom…

Is this a contradiction? If I say the Salvation Prayer, can I guarantee my salvation? The truth is we have to share the who story when we are sharing the Gospel. They answer to this question, I believe is found in the story of the Rich Young Ruler. See Jesus knows your heart, and the question is, do you really believe in your heart when you say the salvation prayer?
