Fear is a spirit but also an indicator danger is near ( 2nd Timothy 1:7)
Fear in Greek : doubt , run away , shock/astonishment
Build your faith:
The crusher of fear is having faith .
God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear but He does give us a measure of faith. And we can also pray for the gift of great faith.
Mark 11:22-23 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
- Accepting Jesus as Lord of your life too me the first step of building your faith.
- Get to know God by reading His word. You won’t know what God is doing if you don’t what He approves and what He disapproves of.
- Belong to a local Bible based churched who teaches the Word of God not emotions and theories.
- Study and mediate on scripture because there will always be a test to test what you know
- Shut down opposite voices of God
- Pray , pray , pray ( Jesus was always praying)
- Pray and ask God : help me with my unbelief , Lord increase my faith
- Worship & praise God
- Have absolutes God - knowing His promises that are irrevocable
