What's Going on Down There?!? Bladder cancer symptoms and how initially, I tried to ignore mine. Finding a urologist and taking charge of your care.

Was your bladder cancer diagnosis delayed because your doctor treated you for a UTI or something else? In this Patient-to-Patient podcast, I'll discuss common symptoms and the importance of getting a proper diagnosis early on. Also discussed are methods I use for finding the very best specialists and the importance of the doctor-patient relationship during the bladder cancer journey. I'll also introduce myself and discuss my own experiences and reactions when I was first diagnosed, as well as where I am currently with treatment.

Mentioned in this podcast is BCAN, the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. This organization provides excellent information on all stages and types of bladder cancer, as well as treatments and life-saving procedures. For more information, visit their website at: https://bcan.org/
