Coming Out of the Cancer Closet - Telling family and friends about your diagnosis

Those of us with bladder cancer have all faced the dilemma of telling our friends and loved ones about our diagnosis.  In my case, it took 3 1/2 years for me to venture out of my cancer closet.  But when I did, I discovered something really great.

In this podcast episode, I'll talk about the difficulties I experienced in coming to terms with my own diagnosis and the challenges I faced in concealing my condition from others for quite some time.  It wasn't until I realized that there's more uneasiness and anxiety in hiding my disease than there is in being open about it that my situation became less complicated, and in time... even rewarding.

As promised, the links I mentioned in this episode are listed below...

Wishing you peace, health and happiness!

Cindy
