Our guest is Dr. Muhammed Al-Ahari, an American essayist, historian, teacher, and writer on the topics of American Islam, Black Nationalist groups, heterodox Islamic groups, Bosniaks, and modern occultism. He has edited over 40 publications, and is the sole author of five other publications. Our conversations centers on some of those works, his process, advice for aspiring researcher/scholars, and some of the history specific to muslims in Chicago.
