Follicle by Lok & Peasant's Paradise.

We chat to South African-born artist Calvin Lok Thoo about his collaboration project with Peasant's Paradise.

'A unique art and food event that weaves the lines between 5 pieces of art, 5 identifiable generational stories and 5 plates of food.

Lok is taking their visual interpretation of each story and putting it to paper and Peasants Paradice kitchen is bringing them to life through a unique sensory culinary experience.

Expect each artwork and each dish to relate to each subject's story and their underlying translation of the culture surrounding African hair or "roots - follicles" as we know them.'
