A Passion for Dismantling Discrimination with Roisin Wood, CEO of Kick It Out | Biz with Kiz 10

Communication, education and empowerment is what we should all do to tackle racism.

To mark the 10th episode of Biz with Kiz I am delighted to be joined with Roisin Wood, CEO of Kick It Out.  Everyone who watches football in England will be aware of the amazing work that Kick It Out do to lead the charge against discrimination in the beautiful game.

This interview comes at a time when the world is asking for answers on how to demolish racism due to the horrific death of George Floyd.  There has also been a number of racist attacks in the football world over the last year with the most recent one being the horrendous verbal abuse that was pointed at the fantastic role model that is Ian Wright (sports pundit & former Arsenal player) on social media.  Roisin explains that we all have a part to play in the fight against racism and it's starts with us standing up for what is right!  We then have to educate people to bring forward a new and stronger generation.

Roisin is so passionate about equality.  Her passion is the main reason that she is in the role that she is in today.  I learnt so much from her on a personal level and I'm sure you will too.  This interview is inspiring and will not just help you in your own career, but it will help you understand how we can all play our part in developing a better society.   Tune in and let yourself be motivated by Roisin's fantastic story.  If you are interested in sport or social justice then make sure you listen and learn. (P.S We should all be interested in social justice!!)
