Today is a story episode, yay! Join us as Mariela DeSantiago shares of her experience becoming a mama to her now 2-year-old. She’s married, has two dogs at home, and was a special ed teacher before she had her son.

She shares about how her active pregnancy, her c-section after an induction, being ravenous and sleep-deprived in PP and how sleeping when the baby sleeps didn’t work for her. She also talks about her pumping and breastfeeding journey which she was on for 19 months and how she made a major career change after maternity leave. She prefers the term “Raising a Human” as a job title over “Stay at Home Mom” - love this!

Create a list of people for postpartum: Lactation consultant, pelvic floor PT, therapist, doula, etc. (do this during pregnancy)
