Join Boreal Bruce for a special on-location episode recorded during the Hilliardton Marsh's Migration Day event. Follow along as Bruce leads visitors to the river net lanes for an up-close look at where birds are caught to be banded. At the banding table, Jacob Lachapelle takes measurements and listens to the heartbeat of a Black-capped Chickadee. Listeners also get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the Marsh’s daily observation meeting, where researchers and volunteers share notes on the migration season. Later, Murph interviews volunteers and visiting tattoo artists who generously donated half of their proceeds from tattoos done right at the Marsh. It’s a celebration of nature, community, and creativity—migration style.Guests:Jacob LachapelleJac GiesbergerMike VastrinasNatalia HarbaughAlex DumouchelleJavin HawnStacey ToupinDaniela ZinßmeistJamie NadalineTyler W LoubeJulian Warmlandhttps://thehilliardtonmarsh.comhttps://www.facebook.com/HilliardtonMarshhttps://www.facebook.com/share/g/1F1PNb6HY5/https://www.instagram.com/hilliardtonmarsh/?hl=enRecorded and edited by Benjamin MacPherson
