Prices for most biodiesel grades rose over the last two weeks as L-S-G-O spiked about 12%, improving blending economics. Policy remains the big swing factor: Germany’s postponed November 12 vote on double counting and protection of trust could boost H-V-O demand from 2026 and narrow eligible suppliers, potentially lifting German premiums. The Netherlands confirmed U-C-O-M-E will be treated as fossil in maritime under R-E-D, curbing bunkering demand while road and inland waterways remain eligible. Feedstock prices held steady—U-C-O ex-works Netherlands at €1,075 per ton and C-I-F A-R-A near $1,150—while E-U U-C-O imports rose 7% month-on-month in October but trailed last year, with year-to-date volumes up roughly 9%.
