"Revelation part 1: Ephesus and Smyrna" Join us as we continue our series answering the question "who were the prophets and what did they prophesy" as we dive into the only book of Prophecy in the New Testament. The book of Revelation is divided up into 3 parts; the things which were, the things which are, and the things which shall be herefater. In part 1 of our study, we will look at 2 of the 7 Churches Jesus Christ wrote to in Asia minor and look at how each of these churches were not only a specific church with a relationship to Christ, but also a representation of different time periods in Church history. In this episode, we look specifically at the Church of Ephesus who represented the Apostolic age (pentecost to AD 100), and the Church of Smyrna, who represented the persecuted Church ( up to AD 300).
