What happened to comedy movies being released in the theater?! | The Studio Apple TV Series Review
In today's episode, Mel and Rod breakdown the state of the comedy movies in todays age. Why don't we see comedies being released in movie theaters anymore? Why is everything being thrown onto a streaming platform to then not be as good quality as the comedy movies we used to get in the 90's and the 2000's? They also talk about the newest Apple TV series, The Studio starring Seth Rogen as the head of studio in Los Angeles tasked to make a movie about the IP, Kool aid. Did they knock it out of the park with this series? or was it a let down? Tune in for a fantastic episode that really makes us think about the state of the entertainment industry in making movies of ALL GENRES.
