Joining me on the podcast today is Cassie Sanghvi, certified pharmacist and Co Founder of Australia’s leading magnesium skincare company, The Base Collective.

Cassie and friend Carly founded The Base Collective in 2016 after identifying a rising need and a gap in the market for a range of skincare that was both free from unwanted chemicals and design focused. In just five short years the duo turned the brand into a multi-million dollar business. She and Carly even turned down a $5 million offer from China to export TBC's Magnesium Oil because it required animal testing.

Cassie and I chat about how they turned an idea into a business, the skill sets they needed to obtain to successfully run the business and challenges the duo faced along the way.
