I was in 6th grade, sitting by the window in class, when I saw her.
Every morning… he beat her.
Every morning… she stayed.
No screams. No tears. Just silence… and survival.
She wasn’t someone I knew.
But I saw her.
And what I saw shaped me more than any textbook ever could.
That woman in the window taught me what strength looks like when no one is clapping.
She showed me that love is not pain wrapped in promises.
And that a woman should never be so financially trapped that she can’t choose herself.
Even as a child, I started asking the hard questions—
Who do I want to become?
What will I stand for?
How will I build a life where I am seen, safe, and strong?
That moment—one I never expected—became the silent beginning of my personal brand.
Because branding… isn’t just about colors or content.
It’s about the stories, the scars, and the strength that shaped us—
Sometimes from our own journey.
Sometimes from someone else’s.
Welcome to Beyond the Brand: Moments That Made Us.
In this episode, I share how a woman I never met changed the course of my life—and how that moment became the foundation of the work I now do, helping others build brands of influence, impact, and income.
Stay with me. This is one story you’ll carry with you.
