Chihiro and Pedro like to attend and host in-person events in Dallas-Fort Worth. When we host, we are thoughtful about who we invite, and our events are not open to the public.

But last week, that guy showed up and he had a me-first mentality, seeking capital for his business. We won't invite him again, but this brings up the question, what's the right way to network? It's pretty simple - you can't go wrong as long as you lead with value ( ask yourself "What can I do for this person?").
