This is a simple tip to overcome emotional eating for one of my listeners who shared the following:
I'm an emotional eater. When I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed, I turn to food for comfort. And once I start eating, I can't seem to stop. I'll stand in front of the fridge, stuffing my face with whatever I can find, until I'm so full I feel sick. And afterward, I always feel guilty and ashamed. I know I need to get a handle on my emotional eating, but I don't know how. Every time I try to diet or restrict myself, I end up bingeing. I feel like I'm stuck in this cycle of overeating and guilt, and I don't know how to break free.

Overcoming your Halloween demons (a.k.a the food zombie brain 🧠)
My top 3 tips to prevent a Halloween binge
For many of my clients, Halloween can be very triggering. They feel like they cannot have any of the candy (or lollies here in Australia) because once they have one, they feel they can't stop.
I know how isolating it can feel when you constantly must say no to Halloween treats while wrestling with the urge to just have one in your head.
Today I share my top 3 tips to prevent a binge on Halloween 🎃
Moira struggled with emotional binges from the age of 16, she would reach for pizza and ice cream when she felt stressed or nervous.
She joined my food freedom program because she was fed up with where she was with her relationship with food and her emotional binge episodes flared up her fibromyalgia.
Within four weeks of working with me, Moira was able to leave food on her plate and her energy levels were going up. She found herself naturally drawn to fruits and vegetables and she has not had a fibromyalgia flare-up since. She overcame the urge to eat ice cream every single day and can now enjoy ice cream every now and then.
