In this episode we discuss mediumship and developing our connection to the spirit world with Kate Hartikka
Her mediumship journey began as a PhD student when she began volunteering with a local hospice facility. She always knew she was psychic, with childhood experiences that resurfaced in adulthood. While working with hospice patients, she found herself sensing, hearing, feeling, and knowing that she was needed to help guide patients and their loved ones through the transition of death. She spent years working in this capacity, but it wasn't until friends and family recommended her to others that she became more professionally inclined in her mediumship work. Currently, she is taking a break from hospice, but she continues to help people connect with loved ones as part of their healing journey. She believes in the complementary nature of spirit medicine with Eastern/Western medicine and that practices such as Reiki, mediumship, meditation, and other spiritual paths are important steps in balancing the mind, body, and spirit.
