In 2022 Winnie the pooh went int the public domain, by 2023 director Rhys Frake-Waterfield had released Winnie the Pooh - Blood & Honey, a slashers movie depicting Pooh and his lovable friend Piglet going on a killing spree.

The movie cursed much controversy and was hated by critics. Some people claiming it even ruined their childhood watching it. The movie however was a success and has already gained quite a cult following. A higher budget and (slightly) better received sequel soon followed and the Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare shortly after that, which showed a very dark version of Peter Pan in the same universe as the Pooh movies. The Pooniverse was born.......
