Anna Busenburg, RD, CSP (certified speciality in paediatrics), LD, CLC (certified lactation counsellor) is a dedicated Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience in clinical nutrition.
From 2011 to 2024, she specialized in neonatal and pediatric nutrition, focusing on maternal and infant health. After nearly 14 years in clinical care, Anna transitioned to a community-focused role, now serving as a Nutrition Affairs Manager for the American Dairy Association Mideast.
Anna earned her undergraduate degree and completed her dietetic internship at Purdue University in Indiana. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about combating nutrition misinformation, particularly regarding maternal and pediatric health.
She is committed to providing evidence-based education that empowers families to make informed dietary choices, fostering healthier generations.
Beyond her professional role, Anna remains actively engaged with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She contributes to multiple committees, including the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group and the Committee for Lifelong Learning, furthering her dedication to advancing the field of nutrition.
Anna’s expertise, combined with her commitment to public education, continues to shape the conversation around maternal and child nutrition, ensuring that science-based information reaches both healthcare professionals and the broader community.
