She has a bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a post-bachelor's teaching certificate from the College of St. Scholastica. She graduated with a Master of Science in Teaching from The College of St. Scholastica in May 2015. She’s also Director of Education with the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce.
