Having The Heart To Keep At Fitness with Tom

Tom Gorman is a husband, a father of two teenage boys, a former athlete, and one of our most inspiring members at Bent On Better. In this episode, he shares with us the struggles he has faced from finding out about what was supposed to be a heart murmur but turned out to be an aortic aneurysm and a leak in his aortic valve, to going through open-heart surgery and how he was able to power through with his recovery thanks to the strength of his family. 


Let Tom’s story be a reminder that your physical fitness can always be rebuilt and that there is always progress to see within yourself. You just need to let yourself be open to the support of the people around you.
