Berlin Roundfunk aims to explore the Berlin music scene through its musicians. I talk to them to find out why they've decided to move and stay in Berlin. From DJs to folkrock musicians and outside buskers, I invite musicians from the entire spectrum - as long as they consider themselves Berlin-based.

#8 - The Different Faces of Music w/ LuKKas
It's all energy and passion for this week's featured artist: LuKKas (in daily life known as Lucas) plays most rock instruments and produces his own songs, too. A rock musician by trade, he puts on various musical personas to widen his musical horizon. In Berlin, you can find him on the streets (check out Stadtmitte late at night), at events, and even book him to help you produce your own tracks.

For him, being connected to electronic instruments like an amplifier or a mic functions as an extension to being human, in a way becoming a cyborg in the process. Cyborg or not, all of these extensions enhance the creative process.

Tune in for a live performance of his song "Lifeline" - which might go into the books as the longest continuous vocal sound; as well as a very pure studio recording of his rock song "Ready Go".
