Welcome back to the North Country Trail! Today we hike a very special portion, so special that pedestrians can only hike it once a year, on Labor Day! If you're from Michigan, you may already know the Mighty Mac, the Mackinac Bridge! This suspension bridge, the longest in the Western Hemisphere, connects Michigan's two peninsulas and carries the North Country Trail across the Straights of Mackinac.
