t is impossible to explain who Anna Tur is without talking about her music, or better
said, her relationship with music. To know when it came into her life is a difficult task
and not because it requires deep investigation but because it feels like it was always
there. Two inseparable realities that coexist in perfect symbiosis. Three in fact,
because if there is something that defines Anna Tur as much or more than music, it
is her beloved island, Ibiza.
Honest, positive, spiritual, perfectionist, passionate, elegant and fun are all
adjectives that best describe Anna Tur and her style. Her balanced combination
between house and techno has taken her to play at the biggest international clubs
and festivals. Maybe that's the secret to why the DJ and producer from Ibiza
manages to connect with the public in such a characteristic and unique way. An
ability that has allowed her to develop a very close bond with her fans who loyally
accompany her in each of her projects. A support that is also shared by the
electronic industry, from her colleagues to critics and specialized media.
In addition to her music, her work on the airwaves has contributed to this recognition,
respect and international projection. For almost two decades, Anna Tur was the
General Manager of Ibiza Global Radio TV, one of the most important radio stations
dedicated to advanced music in the world. Without her work, it would be impossible
to understand the success of the station. After her departure, without leaving behind
the radio spirit that characterizes her so much, the Ibizan created On Air with Anna
Tur. A radio program in podcast format, in which Anna presents her favorite music,
new releases and invites special guests, from the most influential figures in the
scene to upcoming talent that she supports.
And her ventures don’t stop here. To her music, performances, live broadcasts and
radio show we must add her most recent project: LOWLITA Records. A label that
Anna Tur has created together with Gonçalo Miranda and Hosse, with an identity
based on the groove of house music fused with techno and industrial forcefulness.
With hundreds of performances on five continents, successful releases, several radio
shows and so many more projects behind her in just a couple of decades, one can
only wonder, where will Anna Tur take us next?

"Filterheadz are best known for their smash techno hits Sunshine & Yimanya as well as
their highly energetic DJ performances.
It all started when Bert & Maarten picked up guitar and drums and took the first steps on
the way to Rock ‘n Roll stardom.
After hammering away in rehearsal rooms and local stages their dream to become rock
stars took a surprising twist. Almost by accident they discovered the House Music and
started experimenting with loops and disco samples.
Their remix of Minimalistix 'Struggle for Pleasure' became an instant progressive house
classic.
Together with DJ Tomaz they embarked on a Techno journey that would lead them to Carl
Cox’ Intec where they released their all time classic “Sunshine”. Taking their signature
sound even further Filterheadz released “Yimanya”, another festival classic.
Extensive tours took Filterheadz to every corner of the globe and placed them high on the
bill of events like I love Techno, Dance Valley & Tomorrowland and headlining clubs like
Zouk, Ageha, Womb, Fabrik Madrid & Egg London.
2012 marked the 10th anniversary of Sunshine and a release of a smashing remix
package on 1605. They also put themselves back on the Techno map with a string of new
releases on Intec, MB Elektronics, 1605, Bedrock and Bitten.
2015, Filterheadz join forces with Toolroom: With 5 charting singles, including Flying
Colours and Curve plus a Toolroom Live mix album.
After a string of consistent, quality EP’s, Filterheadz make their return to Toolroom Trax in
2017 with their debut artist album ‘Magnetic’.
‘Magnetic’ encapsulates that signature Filterheadz sound providing plenty of Techno
grooves, atmospheric synths, locomotive drum sequencing and hooky vocals. Offering 18
club ready weapons and a full-length DJ mix to complete the package, ‘Magnetic’
ventures into the darker side of Tech House and Techno. Highlights include ‘Ricochet’
with it’s pumping b-line, the instantly catchy ‘Kaleidoscope’ with it’s atmospheric builds,
chunky Techno roller ’Paper City’ and ‘Raised By Wolves’ with those progressive techno
vibes. Also included are past hits ‘Clockwise’, ‘Curve’, ‘In The Box’ and ‘Flying Colours’.
2019: Techno veterans Filterheadz keep pushing forward with a string of releases on
Tronic, Unity Records and Transmit Records. More inspired and productive than ever, the
unique Filterheadz sound that blends techno beats and melody keeps rocking dance
floors all over the world."
