t is impossible to explain who Anna Tur is without talking about her music, or better
said, her relationship with music. To know when it came into her life is a difficult task
and not because it requires deep investigation but because it feels like it was always
there. Two inseparable realities that coexist in perfect symbiosis. Three in fact,
because if there is something that defines Anna Tur as much or more than music, it
is her beloved island, Ibiza.
Honest, positive, spiritual, perfectionist, passionate, elegant and fun are all
adjectives that best describe Anna Tur and her style. Her balanced combination
between house and techno has taken her to play at the biggest international clubs
and festivals. Maybe that's the secret to why the DJ and producer from Ibiza
manages to connect with the public in such a characteristic and unique way. An
ability that has allowed her to develop a very close bond with her fans who loyally
accompany her in each of her projects. A support that is also shared by the
electronic industry, from her colleagues to critics and specialized media.
In addition to her music, her work on the airwaves has contributed to this recognition,
respect and international projection. For almost two decades, Anna Tur was the
General Manager of Ibiza Global Radio TV, one of the most important radio stations
dedicated to advanced music in the world. Without her work, it would be impossible
to understand the success of the station. After her departure, without leaving behind
the radio spirit that characterizes her so much, the Ibizan created On Air with Anna
Tur. A radio program in podcast format, in which Anna presents her favorite music,
new releases and invites special guests, from the most influential figures in the
scene to upcoming talent that she supports.
And her ventures don’t stop here. To her music, performances, live broadcasts and
radio show we must add her most recent project: LOWLITA Records. A label that
Anna Tur has created together with Gonçalo Miranda and Hosse, with an identity
based on the groove of house music fused with techno and industrial forcefulness.
With hundreds of performances on five continents, successful releases, several radio
shows and so many more projects behind her in just a couple of decades, one can
only wonder, where will Anna Tur take us next?

i am really proud to present a very new episode of the Global Grooves Radioshow.
For this show i invited Kuvoka from Canada. As always on all guests i invite i love the sound he is doing.
Here some facts out of his BIO:
One of the most innovative artists in the realm of techno, Canada -based DJ/producer Kuvoka unleashed his debut production “Kargi” in 2018, following his 3-year DJing career playing at several prominent venues and festivals. Having collaborated with legendary pioneering artist Richie Hawtin and taken part in the
2019 A/V album “Close Combined” with this project, Kuvoka quickly made a name for himself through collaborative projects with the Jeton Records founder Ferhat Albayrak such as “Dematerialize”, “Tube Alloys” and “Aksak” as well as with solo works the likes of “Green”, “Randomize” and “Silent Storm” on outstanding record labels Second State, Tronic, KD RAW and Jeton Records to name a few.
He racked up over 2 million streams on Spotify from collaborative tracks with Spanish duo Dok & Martin and Canadian artist Norman Rocheleau. His sound caught the attention of various figures like Julian Jeweil, ANNA, Wehbba, Pan-Pot, Christian Smith and Alan Fitzpatrick, along with Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, and his music has been featured
in some of the biggest editorial playlists on Spotify such as Techno Bunker, Techno State, Night Rider and New Music Friday Cratediggers. Kuvoka looks nowhere else but ahead for 2022 with another scintillating collaboration with Kenan Doğulu, one of Turkey’s most acclaimed pop stars. They joined forces with each other to serve up a wonderfully wistful reinterpretation of Doğulu’s 1994 song “Sımsıkı Sıkı Sıkı”.
Spinning his unique take on techno music across numerous venues such as Zorlu PAC, Klein Phönix, Kite, 2020, IF Performance Hall, Gorgomish, Tabu, Vantek, Suma Han and Roots, Kuvoka has added a new dimension to his performance practice in 2021 through a show-specific alter ego, Kuvoka+, which reflects the artist’s stance on always promising experiences beyond the standards. As the Kuvoka project continues at full steam via the creative dynamism and energy in the artist's productions that we are accustomed to, Kuvoka+ keeps on strengthening its position that always offers more to the audience on the dance floor both in Turkey and around the world day by day.
