Norms are a way of life instilled in us when we were young. As we have grown, perhaps we have realized that particular norms don't resonate with our authentic selves. Conventional norms that are not in line with our personal values hinder our happiness, growth, and spiritual satisfaction. In this episode, Karim and his co-hosts welcome two exceptional women: human rights activist, writer, and teacher Heather Hay, and social worker and owner of Lahore Tikka House, Gulshan Alibhai. Join them as they discuss what norms are worth keeping, which ones must be challenged, and how to construct new norms moving forward.
